About Online Yoga sessions
I will encourage you to tune into how you "feel" in the session. Yoga is more about that than trying to touch your toes yet injuring yourself on the way down. You will practice asanas/postures that involve strength & flexibility but we let go of comparison & anything that leans towards a "workout".
Weaved into every session are various breathing/pranayama techniques & short meditations so you are able to enjoy balanced sessions with many limbs of yoga not just the physical practice.
We rediscover our patience, peace & we can honour & not punish our bodies.

I'm a complete beginner to yoga, Can I join these sessions?
Absolutely. To put your mind at ease, I don't teach extreme back bands, head or handstands, there are some wonderful teachers out there that include these in their classes but they are not in mine.
When you join a class, you'll hear me suggesting variations or when to rest but you'll find once you become more familiar with my sessions, you'll instinctively know when to ease off or rest.
We don't treat our bodies as though we are in the gym. You'll hear me asking you to "tune inwards" to "feel" the asana & start to understand your bodies signals.
Yoga can be a life-long practice so take it slowly, watch & or stop when you need to.
What to expect
All of my 1 hour sessions are a beautiful blend of breathing, postures, meditation & rest.
You will have the time to find the right alignment (for your body & proportions) & tune inwards to how your body feels.
I incorporate asanas that build strength & asanas to help to move tension out of muscles, increase joint mobility alongside various breathing techniques & breath awareness.
You will also find shorter sequences to suit your mood & if you are short on time.
